I was very disappointed at my stay at the Executive Inn at Whistler. It should be a premier resort — we were certainly paying those prices — and the location cannot be beat if you are hitting the slopes.
My first contact with them (I made the reservation through whistler.com) was them overcharging me by an enormous amount of money when the final charges were made. The agent who made the reservation for us straightened it out — but — nothing from the hotel at all, not an email ever, not something when we checked in — nothing.
When we got there we found out there are actually two hotels and we went to the wrong one, so we drove around to the ‘right’ one. When we got *there* the person who was a the front desk wasn’t so excited to see us. Eventually, I realized I didn’t have all that I needed and went back to the front desk to get information about the storage locker and the ski passes.
The room was barely cleaned while we were there, and looked like it had hardly been cleaned before we got there. One day we were there in the room and the maid came to clean — and we asked if she could come back in an hour (when we were going to dinner) — she said she couldn’t they were all trying to leave. She went upstairs for a few minutes, and didn’t even look at the downstairs. Oh, and 3 towels each day. We were four in the room, a room for 6.
During the visit when I needed something, the people at the front desk who shared the lobby with Exec. Inn were incredibly helpful, many times there wasn’t anyone at our front desk.
Executive Inn Whistler
4250 Village Stroll, Whistler, BC
Executive Inn at Whistler Village -a small and intimate European style boutique hotel. This hotel has the best location; in the heart of Whistler Village just steps from the slopes- the hottest nightspots and luxury shopping. Ski in and ski out access to both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains- this Executive boutique hotel is located just a minute from the ski lifts.
The rooms are clean, cozy, and modern! Simply beautiful! The kitchen is very well stacked and it was great having a washer and dryer right there. The facility boast a fun little play room for the kids (and the kids at heart) as well as a shared theater room. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. At our request we found a crib in our room and a high chair that we didn’t even have to ask for. Right next to Legends (where you check in) and walking distance to Creekside Gondola. We did encounter a glitch as we have an 18 month old….no deadbolt on the doors. Several times he opened the door and attempted to escape. All in all…….can’t wait to come back!
We loved this property and our suite! I have to say, I love the decor. It is very modern (unlike other very 90’s places that need a reno in Whistler). It feels like new. The fully stocked kitchen and insuite laundry are a bonus. But I really loved the property, two jacuzzis, sauna, steam, pool – didn’t need to go to the scanadave spa. Our view of the mountains was spectacular. It was right across from the best pizza place in whistler, creekbread and Nita Lake Lodge (apres!). I love the proximity to amenities…groceries, liquor store just a two minute walk. Plus I like creekside, doesn’t have the amount of tourists that are constant in the village. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
The Hotel is in the middle of Whistler Village. Very easy to go to all places in walking distance including to the Gondola which brings you to Whistler Mountain & Peak 2. Rooms are nice and clean and staff are helpful.
We paid for an upgrade to a king suite upon arrival. Spacious, comfortable bed, clean kitchen with everything you need.
Very impressed by the efficient and pleasant check-in by the front desk staff person, wish I could remember her name. Delta hotels must emphasize training because she did her job perfectly!
Would stay here again. Noise from the main road and village stroll may be an issue in high season, but with windows closed we did not notice a problem

You couldn’t make a finer choice of a hotel. The hospitality was fantastic, the location was perfect and the food at Basalt’s was the best you will find anywhere. We come to Whistler every year to visit our grandchildren and have tried many different hotels in the area for the past 16 years. My son who has a business in Whistler made the recommendation of the Crystal Hotel to us. He was spot on and for the past two years we have stayed there and in future visits the Crystal will always be our first choice.
We stayed two nights. The front desk was very helpful with several items. The room was clean and comfortable with a soaker tub. The location is superb, everything is within easy walking distance. There are numerous restaurants within the area. A Spaghetti Factory is part of the property.

We said at the Coast Blackcomb for an anniversary trip in October of 2016. While it rained the entire trip, that didn’t stop us from make the most of the trip. This hotel is basically located as far from the village as you can get. Had I had a better handle on the geography, I would have likely booked closer to the village. That being said, they had one of the best prices for the area. There was a free shuttle offered from the hotel to the village, which was great!
We arrived to the hotel late, and the front desk reception was warm and welcoming. We had booked a room, and to my error, I had only booked a double bed and the room we were in was located next to a party. Not wanting to interfere with their fun, we asked if we could be relocated and the front desk was quick to offer us a few other options. For an additional fee of $35 we upgraded to a king bed one bedroom suite. The suite was clean and decorated with a rustic feel. The bathroom was quite dated with green laminate counter tops, but again, was very clean. It seems rooms could use a bit of an update.
I found it a bit much to pay an additional $25 a night for parking as well.
The breakfast was good, but after staying for three nights, I found it lacked variety and was limited in the amount of healthier options, but it is vacation after all! Typically continental breakfast though, yogurt, boiled eggs, make your own waffles, toast, bagels, cereal. Can’t ask for much more considering it’s included.
The hot tubs were great! Almost too hot! but were a great place to unwind.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheaper option, and nothing overly fancy, then this is your place.

3 of us stayed in a one room studio room. The room was comfortable with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. It also had a cooking area with electric hob, dishwasher, fridge and oven. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower, which was always very hot. The amenities in the bathroom were good with soaps, shampoo, lotion and make up wipes. These were replaced very regularly. In the kitchen, dishwasher tablets were available and replenished too.
The Blackcomb Lodge couldn’t be better situated as it is right in the middle of Whistler Village next to bars, restaurants and the super market. It is just a 5 minute walk from the lifts. You really are in the heart of everything.
The staff were very friendly – especially Eric and Alannah when we checked in. Reception is open 24 hours a day.
Excellent wifi signal – always worked for all of us. Great TV with tons of channels.
The only downsides were that you won’t get your beds made if there is a single item on your bed, as they aren’t allowed to be moved. And, the kitchen isn’t super fully equipped. Having said that, we would definitely go there again at this time of year – it was excellent value for money. Definitely got our money’s worth. Thank you Blackcomb Lodge!!!

Well maintained and reasonably priced hotel. It’s walking distance to the village and far enough from the noise. They have nice touches like a simple snack bar with fruits, cookies and coffee if you need a quick energy booster. The cookies were delicious. They also had a resident golden retriever which my daughters loved.
Would return in a heart beat.
Popped up for a weekend trip to whistler and stayed in a one bedroom suite with our two kids. Hotel was comfortable and the suite had everything we needed including wifi, a little fridge, kettle, wine glasses etc. The beds were wonderful – the kids even liked the pull out. The hotel offers complimentary coffee, water and treats in the lobby at various times during the day which was a nice touch. Pool and hot tub appeared well maintained and the staff were friendly. Hotel is located right in the village and walking distance to everything one needs in whistler. The only downside is the night club downstairs- I woke up about 1am the first night due to the bass from the music and could not get back to sleep for an hour.

Hotel staff were very friendly. They gave us an upgraded room and parking, that was a nice surprise. We brought our dog and they have there whole west wing with animal friendly rooms. The location was ideal, not right in the thick of things but a stones throw away. it was well worth what we paid.
Stayed 2 nights. Hotel is just beside the village, walking distance 5min only. Food/grocery/shopping can be all found in the village. Hotel is clean. Room is very clean, wifi free and strong, staff is friendly and all smiley. Love the stay!

Hot water took forever to turn on!!! The room smelt like fire wood/old smell. The only good thing about this hotel was where it was located. I hope they fo some upgrades on this hotel soon. But was central
We stayed here for two nights. The room was comfortable and large, the folks at the front desk were polite but a bit unenthusiastic in helping us. Parking in the hotel garage is $20 a night so we parked at lot 4, about ten minutes away (free)
Had a great time. Rooms were clean. I could see how this hotel would be great for a bunch of skiers. The rooms were dated but as I said, very clean. The staff were helpful with all our requests. So nice that the room had a fireplace.

Right next to main village so location was perfect…friendly n helpful staff…big rooms and comfy beds and gas fireplace in room also…parking is available for reasonable price $11 per night…bonus was the price…we picked the right time but beware some things not available to do for close of season…we still found plenty to do though…ATV tour, walk around without the crowds, visit Olympic village just over the bridge from lodge…would stay here again for sure…thank you whistler peak lodge
While the staff there tried very hard to accommodate the building construction is paper thin walls. Don’t stay there if you want to sleep. There is much noise from the street and neighboring rooms. We were on the 6th floor. It’s not quiet until 3 am. Parties all over the streets noise was loud. We stayed the 23-25 a weekend.
