It is a nice hotel with large lobby and decent size rooms with nice view. Some areas do need updating and there some rooms being renovated. The pool set up is especially nice, allowing you to enter the pool inside and swim to the outside, so one can swim and get out without getting cold. Service is also very good. Although they have shuttles going to the village on a regular basis, walking to the village (east or west side) is less than 10 minutes. Even at night, there is enough light to make the walk comfortable. One thing to watch out for would be the common computers in the lobby. Their OS is very old and cannot be depended on to access lots of sites (example, no google drive). Don’t think about using their system to save any Office files as it uses 2003 version and will ruin all your formatting. It is a Fairmont, so expect it to be expensive (like $31 for continental breakfast). We did have their special 4 course fall tasting meal for $39 and it was real good.
