Good hotel, great location, best hot tubs and pool in the village. We stayed in the Glacier suite in the South tower, a bit farther walk than the North tower. Just enough room for a family of 4 with young kids but would be crowded if they were teenagers. I’ve stayed suites in both Pan Pacific and Westin and I prefer the suites at Hilton but one thing that is putting me off from making this the hotel of our choice when we visit is the LACK of a ski valet service. Guests store skis at Summit Skis and we have to carry our skis up and down the stairs, it’s a bit of a pain to to carry skis down after a day of skiing. I’m a size 5 boot and I find the steps really narrow. Any ways, it would be such an added bonus if they would just leave ski racks outside the Summit doors, it doesn’t even have to be at the base of the mountain like Westin has them. I doubt the hotel will make the change, I read a review from 2012 complaining of the same thing. Bottom line: Bigger suite but you risk slipping or falling on narrow stairs while holding your skis!
