Was here for a conference and stayed here as it was nearer than other options.
I will say before reviewing that the guest services manager has been in touch regarding some of the concerns and although this was nice of him, I am not sure what will come out of the feedback.
PROS: Beautiful facility, well-connected to Whistler village and the gondola and other attractions, wonderful sauna, large jacuzzi, and enjoyable heated pool, and customer service was fair.
CONS: For the price you expect a bit more luxury, and sadly this is a recurring theme at the last 3 Hiltons I have stayed at. Some of there rooms are appearing worn out. For example, the tub and drain in the room I stayed in (I can provide specifics) were clearly in need of repair. There was rusting by the sprinkler system, and with the fridge in the room there can be some background noise you can do without.
Overall I don’t think you can go wrong with this option since the assumption is that most of the day one wouldn’t be inside when visiting Whistler anyway. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful and this can offset some of the other concerns.
Hilton Whistler hotel is ideally located in the heart of Whistler Village . Named by Conde Nast as the 10th top resort hotel in Canada the hotel is steps away from the chairlifts of the legendary Whistler/Blackcomb resort.
