Unfortunately I only stayed here for one night, I would have liked to enjoy the room a bit longer. Don’t be fooled by the horrible reception area. I was almost shocked when I walked in, it looked quite dirty and worn, not inviting at all. The room on the other hand felt welcoming from the moment I opened the door. It’s also a bit dated but with lots of charm. There’s a bathtub next to the bed which I found a bit odd but, hey, why not. I also didn’t expect a proper kitchen but it came in handy. The room had a balcony and the best thing: a real fire place which was on when I arrived. I had to ask someone from the hotel to turn it off because it got too warm eventually but how cosy for the winter! He arrived straight away and was really friendly. The loation is great too.
I was surprised that you have to pay for parking though and the rate is not exactly moderate but I guess they know you don’t really have a choice. That’s the only negative thing I can say about the hotel.
