Though, there is no bad place to stay when visiting Whistler. The Westin Resort & Spa Whistler is absolutely my favorite. It snowed every night and three of the days. Beautiful view from our room. The Firerock Lounge has great food, relaxed atmosphere and superior service. The Concierge are so helpful. Catrina booked everything for us and made sure that we had a good time. Even got us a refund on a botched dinner. The front desk upgraded us to a beautiful mountain view suite and when we decided to extend our stay, they charged us the rate we initially booked. The only thing that I wasn’t thrilled with was neither the room service breakfast nor the restaurant buffet. Was not worth the price. The shuttle is available all the time. The hotel is in the village at the base of the mountain where all of the shops and outside restaurants are, so don’t rent a car! Get someone to drive you from Vancouver. I loved my trip and the Westin and staff had ALL to do with that.
