Stayed here and room was very good. The bedroom was on an upstairs level with all other on first. It had a Ovan , micro, fridge , freezer, lounge, . Would be great in ski season as we didn’t use the facilitys. Village is great for restaurants. It has a swimming pool. It has no restaurant or bar as its self contained.
Stayed here during an organised tour of the Canadian Rockies, as such didn’t book this ourselves but was part of a package. First impressions when we arrived were good but we were quickly advised that the group, 50 in total were not staying in the main building but all in the Powder Lodge which was adjacent. After climbing the dark and dingy stairs ( lift was available) we eventually located our room only to be presented with another dark and dingy room. To be fair once we opened the curtains and put the light on the place improved, but who paints hotel walls in a dark mustard anyway ? We had been given a suite with lounge, bathroom, separate bedroom, kitchen etc but as we were only there for one night this was not appropriate . The suite had certainly seen better days and was screaming for refurbishment
