We are Priority Club members when we arrived we asked about our room with 2bedroom 2 bathrooms – which we where told by Chris at the Holiday Inn at Whistler they had. We were told that none of the 2 bedroom have 2 baths as a matter of fact none of the rooms have 2 baths period. We told them that we spoke to someone at the Hotel and that we were told by them we were interrupted by another gentlemen who said “No, no one would tell you that”. My husband recognized his name and said “Yes, I did. I spoke to you.” With that he walked away and we never saw him again. Come to find out it was the Manager. We asked the guy we were dealing with if we could get some kind of a discount since we had been lied to. He said the Manager said No. Everything we asked about was No. They told us they put us in their Best room. When we got to the room it wasn’t the room we asked for. Also, We ask for a queen bed for the Loft area as our son is 6’3″ tall – that didn’t happen either – instead we got 2 little bunk beds. The bathroom had so many angles in it that our son would not have been able to even stand up in the shower. The other bedroom was to only have one queen bed it had 2 and it was so cramped that you had to duck and bend to get to the other bed. The bed spread was dirty and had holes. The tub in the bathroom was even dirty and the kitchen was even worse. When we called down to talk to someone we were told No to everything again. With that we called the main number and finally got a hold of someone and complained. We ended up going to another Hotel to stay. The Holiday Inn in my opinion has to be revamp as even the elevator was dirty and where you had to swipe your key in the elevator was broken and they were using tape to hold it together. Plus you, the cart and 2 more people can not fit in the elevator it is so small. We were told by the Holiday Inn Corp. that the Owner/General Manager would be in touch with us about what happen we have never heard a thing from them at all. …. more
